According to the American Heart Association every year more than 475,000 Americans die from a cardiac arrest and 350,000 of these occurrences happen outside of a hospital setting. A cardiac arrest can happen anywhere, even inside of a church. Knowing how to perform high quality CPR and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) could triple the chance of survival of a church member.
It is imperative to be prepared and have the confidence to perform CPR in an actual medical emergency.
