ACLS (Advanced Course – Life Support)

This advanced course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

  • Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED.
  • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest.
  • Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
  • Airway management
  • Related pharmacology
  • Management of ACS and stroke
  • Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team.

BLS (Basic Life Support)

These courses are intended for Healthcare Professionals who may require a completion card for their job. Topics include CPR and AED, Basic or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Stroke training, and more. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course from the list below. All courses resulting in a Course Completion Card.

  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
  • The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components
  • Use of an AED
  • Effective ventilations using a barrier device
  • Importance of teams in multirescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multirescuer CPR

HeartSaver

Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. For many Heartsaver courses, students receive a course completion card that is valid for 2 years.

First-Aid (Optional Add On to HeartSaver Course)

First-Aid is usually required for the Daycares, lifeguards, or nurses’ aids.Learning these lifesaving procedures be helpful at the time of emergencies when the patient/subject is facing difficulties in the things like #1 Heart Attack, #2 Breathing, #3 Chocking, #4Severe Bleeding, #5 Shock & Stroke and various other problems related to heart and breathings. Students are taught to practice the following things with this course.

– Use an epinephrine pen.

  • Control bleeding and bandaging
  • Recognize elements of common injuries.
  • Recognize elements of common illnesses.
  • Describe how to find information on preventing illness and injury.
  • Recognize the legal questions that apply to first aid rescuers.
  • Use of an AED.
  • Effective ventilations using a barrier device
  • Importance of teams in multirescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multirescuer CPR.
  • Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants.

Friends & Family

Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a CPR course completion card to meet a job requirement. This course is ideal for community groups, new parents, grandparents, kid, babysitters, and others interested in learning how to save a life.
